Tonight I attended a delightful event supporting local independent business at the historic English Market. Miss Daisy Blue, the beautiful vintage store making big waves in Ireland, opened its doors to a glamorous night of wine, retro music and vintage styled models displaying the store's gorgeous new collections. Owner, Breda Casey travels the world to find amazing garments so the dressing rooms were understandably full tonight with women of all ages queuing up to try on beautiful pieces.
Breda and her team have dressed many Irish 'Best Dressed' winners at Irish race courses last season and her boutique is a favourite with some of the top people in fashion in Ireland. I wore one of Bredas evening dresses to the wedding of a dear friend last weekend at Lismore castle & was photographed with Vogue USA's Hanish Bowles, the vintage loving guru himself. Tonight, I picked up a divine burgandy & silver dress and statement neckpiece to wear presenting tomorrow's MBFW fashion show with Brendan Courtney of Irish label, Lennon Courtney....so here's hoping he likes my vintage threads!
Thanks to Breda & team for a super night and it was lovely to meet Gina from Irish label Devlish Designs who has opened her own store across the way also (see navy shoes below!!) Hope you enjoy the pictures below xo
