Irish Designers support 20 years at ARC

Helen Cody

I headed to Dublin with my business partner Vivienne on Monday to visit some friends in the industry and call to TV3 to do some Mercedes-Benz Cork Fashion Week planning. To top off a really great day in the capital, we attended the ARC Cancer Support fashion show at the RDS, celebrating 20 years of great services at the charity which promotes a holistic approach taking into account body, mind and soul, assisting with people's emotional and pyschological well-being as well as their physical battle with cancer.

The show, which was produced by Irish Fashion guru Eddie Shanahan, showcased collections from the creme of the crop in Irish Design. We were also treated to collections from leading designers that will not grace the rails of BT until Autumn Winter so it was great to get the sneak preview for next season. My favourite collections were from John Rocha, who mixed his trademark elegance with the most amazing hand crafted bonets and I also loved the wearable collection from Emma Manley's label 'Manley'. Full list of designers below who participated. It was so encouraging to see such skilled design talent being showcased in Ireland! xo
