Shooting with The Style Doctor

Christmas time is great for meeting up with friends who live away. Today I met up with my friend and fellow Fashion Blogger, Sarah from The Style Dr. She had a few hours away from her two boys so we went for brunch with Erin and browsed the sales. I didn't last long in the sales, they're not for me with the buggy. I was losing my patience trying to navigate the crowds and gave up before I even started shopping. I am more excited to see the new stock on it's way for Spring. Sarah took some snaps of my outfit, although I wasn't dressed up. But isn't that what blogging should be about - every day, natural looks? Thanks for being my photographer Sarah, be sure to follow her blog here.

Winter Knits

These are my favourite days of the year, the calm after Christmas where everyone is happy, spoilt, well fed and relaxing with family. I hope everyone is enjoying some time off, going for walks in the Winter sunshine and getting cosy at night by the fire with box sets 💖

Happy St Stephen's Day

After a food marathon yesterday, I am relaxing today before tonight's party with mint tea, Spotify, Lena Dunham's book and choccie bickies mmm. Erin is all smiles today in her Bonpoint dress that came all the way from my friend Risteard in Paris. Bonpoint is by far my favourite childrenswear label. The excitement of so many house visits and lots of attention got the better of my little sprog and she was overtired yesterday evening. She didn't have a great nights sleep so here's hoping she will nap lots today. Christmas is tough work for little people! 💖

Christmas Style

I love this time of year as friends from abroad are home and we all get to catch up. Last night we all went to the award winning Club Brasserie for a festive meal and it was great to see the girls and hubbies. I hope everyone is organised for Christmas and enjoying this special time of year with family and friends.

Crazy season has begun

By the time Christmas Eve comes, I'm usually exhausted from lots of nights out and this year's crazy season has kicked off already. Last Wednesday we had an open casting at Lockdown so I am still editing test shots from that to find successful candidates.

On Thursday, my friend Kate invited me to the MTV Crashes gig as she knows how utterly obsessed I am with Jesse Ware. It was such a fun night.

On Friday I MC'd a lovely fashion show at The Rising Tide with some of my favourite boutiques from Moda Mallow to Vanilla Fermoy, Verso & The Dress Bar and Parfois. The gorgeous Christmas tree was up at the Rising Tide and it totally put me in the festive spirit so I went home & we put up our own for Erin's First Christmas!

On Saturday I popped along to the Dress Bar & Verso Christmas party. The style was amazing and DJ Stevie G had everyone in the party mood. I left early to come home to my baba but Vivienne, Lisa and the models kept going until the sun came up.

Finally, on Sunday night Timmy had a work-in-progress play written & played by himself in a theatre festival called SHOW. I was so proud of him and his new work and it was the perfect end to a great weekend. Next weekend I have the VMware Gatsby themed party and Erin's christening. Have a great week xo
